As Thoreau says it is an art to affect the quality of the day and as with all art forms it takes practice to do it skillfully but what should one practice? I help my clients develop the practice of awareness through techniques which are collectively called Mindfulness. 

Awareness is the essential skill for finding more balance, peace and happiness in our lives.  Be Here Now -- moment to moment -- with Intentional Awareness.   

Mindfulness practices develop the capacity to be present with a gentle curiosity rather than striving to be someone else or be somewhere else or do something else.
